OculusInternet has revolutionized Digital Advances and the new frontier  is Virtual Reality. In March 2014; Facebook announced they were buying Oculus,creator of the Kickstarted Oculus Rift (Virtual Reality Technology) for $2 billion.    In the announcement, Mark Zuckerberg said 

“After games, we’re going to make Oculus a platform for many otherexperiences. Imagine enjoying a court side seat at a game, studying in a classroom of students and teachers all over the world or consulting with a doctor face-to-face — just by putting on goggles in your home.”

Virtual Reality is the future of LinkedIn Professional Networking Platform once Virtual Reality Technology becomes mainstream. It would be no more mouse click invitation but  experiencing invitation being personally delivered in a computer generated (Virtual Reality) environment.  Nowimagine ……

  1. A  business meeting with your connections in a  Computer Generated (Virtual Reality)  Starbucks.   Starbucks pays for the meeting time (to LinkedIn)  and members are billed for the  Coffee. 
  2. Delivering a Sales Pitch in a computer generated environment of your Choice.
  3. Appearing for an interview from home to a panel of interviewer  and experiencing the adrenalin rush of  an interview in a Computer Generated environment (Virtual Reality).

The Virtual Reality Experience seems daunting, frightening but practical in not so far future.   Virtual Reality is a paradigm shift whose time has come.
